Have you ever thought about being a homecoming candidate? Well with Homecoming coming up we thought we’d talk to some of the candidates to see how they felt when they were chosen. This is what they had to say.

We spoke to Talus Price, a Senior and a member of FFA, FCA, and captain of the football team, he wasn’t expecting to be a candidate but he was still excited.

“I was definitely surprised,” says Price, “I think it will be a good senior Homecoming.”

We’ve also spoke to Sara Opat, a senior and a member of the basketball team, the NHS, and Relay for life, she is also a link leader. She felt honored that she was one of the chosen students

Lastly, we have Jacqui Dyson, the head cheer captain. She didn’t think that she would be chosen, but it was always a dream for her,

“I’m still in shock, but I think it is really cool,” said Dyson, “I was very surprised when I found out, because I didn’t think people liked me.”

Make sure to come and cheer them on during the Homecoming game against Newton on October 11th.
