2019 Homecoming Candidates Nominated

On Sept. 27, during the fall sports pep rally, the homecoming candidates were announced. Those candidates are Madeline Paradis, Israel Torres, Kadyn Cobb, Quinn Stewart, Jacqui Dyson, Talus Price, Sara Opat, Lukas Freelove, Peyton Griffin, Logan Heigele, Mariah Clark and Malcolm Berkley.

Dyson is the head cheer captain, her escort is price, Price is a member FFA,FCA, and captain of the football team.

” I am super pumped for Hoco, I think this will be a great way to end my high school career,” Price said.

Opat, who is also a candidate, is apart of National Honor Society, a link leader and plays on the Girl’s Basketball team.

“I never really thought about being a homecoming candidate when I was younger, but its a great honor to have,” Opat said.

The Homecoming kings and queens will be revealed at halftime during the football game against Newton.
