Girls soccer team has a new coach who has lead the girls onto multiple victory’s. Some of us may know her as a Lakewood Middle School Science teacher, Mrs. Lexi Fenn. Fenn replaced Dave Ouderkirk, last years girls soccer coach. Fenn has decide to come coach our girls because ” Central is the best, why wouldn’t you choose Central,”  Fenn Said. And with 4 wins and 2 losses this year a comparison of last years loosing streak, the girls and coach are doing really good.

Before coaching this years soccer team Fenn has coached ” All through collage I coached soccer, some little UA, U11 teams, and then at Lakewood I coach Volleyball and Basketball,” Fenn Said Lexi Fenn has had lots of experience, which can be shown through Centrals 4 wins this season.

We asked if working at 2 different school effected her schedule and she said, “No, its actually easier, that way I get to recruit, so I know the girls are ready by they come up. And I have a better relationship with them, so I know how to push them, how to lay off a little bit,” Fenn said.

With our stats this season we wanted to know witch teams are they watching out for and think would be more challenging for them and Fenn said “Maize, Maize is really good Last year we got 10-0, so my goal this year is to not get 10-0.”

Fenn also said,”

They have really good team Chemistry. So that part is kind of easy they want to work hard for themselves, as well as each other. ”

— Lexi Fenn

The teamwork part is kinda easy to have that from the beginning.”

The Team and coach seam to be working together and are doing great. And Hope the Mustangs finish the season off well!
