The Salina Central boys basketball team has just made it to the state tournament after defeating Maize High last Friday.  The boys team has had a season full of ups and downs including a tough loss at the buzzer against a talented Derby team at home, and beating beating a very good Maize team after losing to them twice.

The boys game is Wednesday, March 7th at 8:15 in Topeka against Wichita Heights.

We interviewed Senior Ethan Speer and asked him how he feels coming into the big game tomorrow he said “I’m really looking forward to it.  I like our draw and I’m excited to be in the state tournament for the third year in a row.”

At this point in the season it is win or go home and with four Seniors on the team if they lose that means that their career at Salina Central will be over.
