Last year’s season was “disappointing because of how early it ended, but it was a great experience to build off of,” said senior Ryan Sanborn.

With a record of 15 wins and 6 losses, the team had a pretty good season, but they fell just short of making it to state.

The team has many goals for the year and they believe they have a lot of good players that will help the team have a great season.

There are nine seniors this year and eight returning starters from last year, including many new freshmen.

“We will continue to improve and hopefully go deep into state this season,” said Sanborn.

The upperclassmen are excited for the new freshmen and think they will be a great addition to the team. They all are very excited for a new season to begin and to watch the whole team improve together every day.

“The seniors this year are very talented and they are great role models to us, underclassmen. They will be great to help me through my first season of high school baseball and I’m very glad they are here for one last season,” said freshman Dakota Hogan.

“I am very excited for one last ride with this team and to see how well we do this is season,” said Sanborn.
